UWW Exclusive News!

UWW Member : Uchch Aawasi (highlander)

Manu : Sir Ji now give your KAB, KAHAN details. Vipin : please express your view about yourself Uchch Aawasi : Well Dear Manu & Vipin Unlike others, I do not have anything significant to share about myself . I belong to a place just 40 km before Pindari Glacier (Distt Bageshwar). A remote sleepy village living in 16th century, which had its first electricity bulb lit very recently. Used to take our own Pati (Takhti) and Kamait (White clay) and tat to the primary school, which was nearly 3 km away where I did my primary schooling. Then came to Kapkote, an Intermediate college at marketplace, 6 km away from home, to study further where I used to live in a rented quarter with my elder bro and learned cooking food at the age of 11 years. Passed my high school from there. Later started working in Lucknow as a factory labourer, which I am as on date. My wife is a schoolteacher (She is from Delhi) and I have two school going daughters. God has blessed me with a hassle free life so far and many friends and well wishers like you guys. Sam : I have never met him but he is one of the person I trust and really devoted to any work he does. He is one of the main person in UWW who has brought UWW this far. His R&D and original articles, first hand experiences are the most popular in UWW. I not only call him Dajyu but respect him as elder brother. He is the person who can help Uttarakhandis forget the regionalism and casteism and bring all the paharis on one roof in case UWW succeeds in going to the common public in Uttarakhand. Dajyu here are the questions for you: 1. How do we go about the I-Cards for UWW? What should be the designation on the I-Cards for the members? 2. Is it possible for you to re-structure UWW team in different sections so that we can work efficiently and allocate the work to new, energetic and active members? 3. How do we make women to participate? 4. How do we balance the regional disparity in UWW message board? 5. Why do you think UKD is/have not done well in Uttarakhand where as in other states the regional parties have done well and raised the regional questions? 6. How to become optimistic about anything in life? 7. How to disagree with spouse in case he/she is repetitively doing the same mistake? ( After this one should get dinner ) 8. What are you left, right or balanced ? 9. Your first sentence when we meet 10. How can India and specially Uttarakhand get rid of corruption? Nilesh : Guys don't let this Highlander go away easily. He is the personality who has inspired and encouraged many and we should know more and more about him. Joshiji, waiting for your replies to Sam. Keep it up! Manu : Sir Ji aap ki zindagi ka sabse haseen vakya / ghatna / incident Uchch Aawasi :Hi guys, 1. How do we go about the I-Cards for UWW? What should be the designation on the I-Cards for the members? - Sam is given an official position as “Administrator” for UWW and Uttara Worldwide, which can be officially registered in March during renewal of Uttara registration. - I-Cards can be designed by someone like Nilesh or Santosh and printed by Dinesh Joshi (He has a setup for printing I-Cards of all kind which he is already doing for many for many schools and offices. Else you can get it printed in Great Britain but it would be better in India as most of us are here. - All other eligible will be the “Member” . Due annual fee is to be remitted to Uttara for being a member and membership form to be made available ‘online’. Membership needs to be authenticated along with form and remittance. 2. Is it possible for you to re-structure UWW team in different sections so that we can work efficiently and allocate the work to new, energetic and active members? - Nilesh has already given an elaborated reply to this question. A multi-tier system is the best solution. We have to develop more local contacts in Uttarakhand and for this purpose Rudra and Muktesh ji can be requested to take initiative. - Non-availability of net in rural areas is a handicap but indirect contact persons can be developed whoc could remain in contact with us who are able to access net through telephone / letters etc. I can develop a few in my area including some school teachers and gram pradhans (Not nakali pradhans like Gyadu ji). - During renewal of registration, a few new members can be added in the Uttara team and those who opt out voluntarily can be removed officially. Exact structure and posts to be given can be discussed. 3. How do we make women to participate? - Charity begins home. You and myself are the main culprits. - Some threads/ sections of the feminine interest could be developed in message board. Women oriented threads / discussion should be initiated. - Members should refrain any abusive language in their posts - Those who are passive readers and those already in the message board should be encouraged to participate in the discussion. 4. How do we balance the regional disparity in UWW message board? - Let us start doing things and people will join automatically from all regions. - Efforts should be made to develop local contacts in all districts by requesting people on board to develop indirect contacts as suggested above. 5. Why do you think UKD is/have not done well in Uttarakhand where as in other states the regional parties have done well and raised the regional questions? - UKD failed to understand the aspirations and sentiments of pahari people. They never developed a Uttarakhand oriented approach, rather always remained “ Pichhlaggu” of national parties. - UKD leaders are mostly on cold war of one-upmanship and vested interests. - UKD lack a leader of national stature or failed to develop any. - UKD is not aggressive to protect the interests of local folks. - They do not have a clear cut policy or vision on any issue nor they are able to convince people of their plans for the state. - They lack resources other parties have at their disposal. 6. How to become optimistic about anything in life? - Make strong your inner self and convince yourself first that everything is possible and success can not shy away once you start working on it. This will give desired confidence and consequently unbreakable optimism. 7. How to disagree with spouse in case he/she is repetitively doing the same mistake? ( After this one should get dinner ) - Sam – dam – dand – bhed - Mistake is a very relative term. What you term as mistake may not be so in others opinion. So try to understand others point of view. - Most importantly, someones merits and demerits are part & parcel of her / his being. Accept things as they come and you will never feel bad and an eternal peace at home. - A word of love and affection can wash out all the anger - Shopping is one of the most tension reliever in married life. Pay from your nose to wash out the anger. (Nilesh ji ka experience hai ye) 8. What are you left, right or balanced ? - Neither left nor right or balance. I am an Eccentric. 9. Your first sentence when we meet - Spontaneous reactions are mostly honest. I avoid developing any pre-conceived notion. Let it come when we meet. 10. How can India and specially Uttarakhand get rid of corruption? - If everybody stop being victim of corruption, corrupt will have nobody to pay them illegitimate money and corruption will automatically eliminated. We have to stop our self from being a part of corruption and in the process suffer initially. Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- aap ki zindagi ka sabse haseen vakya / ghatna / incident -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was probably 1973 when I was studying in 8th class. While going to school, my father gave me a 25 paise coin for pocket money. I was going to the school happily with the coin in my hand while deeply engrossed in thinking. I had great plans on how to spend that 25 paise. It was raining heavily and the path was very muddy. suddenly i slipped and the coin skipped from my hand and i lost it. I searched for it for a considerable time but did not succeed. It was a huge disappointment. I felt like crying as I had some really passonate plans for the 25 paise coin. I went to school totally downspirited, soaked in rain and mud. Next day while going to school, I incidently slipped at the same place. My elbo got hurt and bleeding. My chappal was off my foot. I composed myself and got up. While looking for my chappal, I saw something brightly shining and it was my 25 paise coin I lost the previous day. It was one of the most pleasant movement of my life as I has promised one of my poor classmate to pay his school fee which used to be 25 paise those days. Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frist Quest:--manu ne poocha hai please express your view about yourself -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am 6'2" / 88 Kg / 45 years. People remind me every now and then that " Khandhar batate hai ki imarat kabhi buland thi" "A perfectionist spend as much time as an unefficient person" is the quote I feel sometime fits me. I am a factory labourer and work real hard. Hence, my bosses are eternally happy with me and never give a thought to promote me as they do not find another good enough "Bail for this kolhu" (A universal truth). I am short tempered but not voilent (Bhaukata hoon par katne ki aadat nahi hai. So don't be afraid of me when I bark). I am mostly introvert personality and do not go around partying or making friends. I have very few friends but a large number of well wishers. "I make it a point to be there with my friends when they are distressed with problem but do not make efforts to join happy moments" My wife says about me. I belong to a distant village, just 40 km before Pindari Glacier which saw its first electricity bulb lit only in 2004. Still there is not road and one have to walk for 6 - 7 km to reach there though it is the constituency of former CM of UA. My daughter who is in class X made me to get my cable connection disconnected so that i may help her in studies instead of watching TV. So I have only Doordarshn to watch. I am an avid fan of Amitabh Bachchan and Nana Patekar and do not miss any movies starring them. Heroines ? no no no, I do not have permission from my better half to think or discuss about "PARAI AURAT" Mahavir Singh : Joshi ji what will you advice to the present generation youths, who don't believe in hardworking and always trying to use shortcuts to gain whatever they want??? Nilesh : There are some beautiful messages in your replies, they are beyond those words. We owe to learn something... Ek mera sawal: Give us a nice, brief Guru Mantra.(Dakshina jo mango woh) Sam :Your biggest achievement? Uchch Aawasi : Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Give us a nice, brief Guru Mantra -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Help those who need it and help will automatically come to you when you are in need of it" (Some people may fool you or take advatage in the process but never bother about them) Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your biggest achievement? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have yet to achieve anything of significance. Uchch Aawasi : 1:- What is different between Uttarakhand Yahoo Groups. Formation of every group be it a net group or any other kind have some motive behind it. All the groups are conceived according to its founders vision and run / moderated accordingly. Interestingly, every group have same declared basic goals - To bring pahai people together, welfare of the community , protect the culture and ...... yet they are poles apart, truely to our tradition. 2:- What is the different between Young Uttarakhand and Uttarakhand world Wide's Work I am not so 'young' as 'wide' though young at heart so do not have much say. Yet I know these guys (Young Uttarakhand) are doing some fantastic work on the groung level which is the purpose of UWW as well. This is the similarity and I should not talk of difference, if any. 3: UWW ki sarkaar Uttarakhand main ban agyee to Uttarakhand ka 10 saal baad kyaa haal hogaa AnnuIndia to CM banane ka prastav tha shayad ek bar kahi. Vipin Bhai " Khuda ganje ko nakhoon nahi deta kyon ? Apke prashna ka rahasyamay uttar isi mein chhupa hai. 4:- yadi aap 3 crore 95 Lakh 65 Hazaar 3 sau 99 paise jeet gaye to kyaa karoge Ek din mein sara paisa kharch kar Guiness Book of Records mein naam likhane ki koshis karunga yadi already is se adhik ka record na ho to. Quset No 99:- aapke uttara ke baad aapko log kahin ki wahaa bhai to aap kyaa karoge Sumit :BCJ is one person who I feel had kept this board alive at times when most of us where busy. At the same time he didn't wrote messages just for sake of them but his messages were full of so much knowledge. Sometimes I feel he is like the encyclopedia…u can ask and discuss anything in this universe to this man. He has information on everything. Not only that, he can read you so well…it’s just amazing. GURUJI is one of the best ways of describing him. Like gurus of ancient time he keeps enlightening us with his knowledge and ya…he is still young…very energetic…. And I didn’t knew we share his common passion for Amitabh Bachchan… May God bless you BCJ Uchch Aawasi : I do not deserve all these praises. Still your words made my day. Thanks
